Everyone else has got one so why shouldnt I? possibly because my life isn't lived in some foreign exotica. Still, it means you all can keep up with my everyday toil without needing to phone. I'm just that thoughtful. And I might offer interesting tit bits from time to time. but don't hold out on it.

meat or veg

Not mentioned food for a while so i'll fill you in on last nights shenanigans.

Jan wants to eat more vegatables. I'm somewhat apprehensive as that would leave less room on the plate for meat. But, in the interests of democracy i let her have her way - and she takes a mile.

So last night, after cooking tea (a stir fry with only one chicken piece instead of two i might add) I began work on tonights tea - vegetable curry. no meat in sight. I feel like a muslim attending mass. But this morning it definatley smelt good, albeit quite veggie. basically it has so far got chillies, garlic, onions, carrots, butternut squash, sweet potato and tomoatoes. spicings are coriander seeds and cardamom pods (both hand ground i might add) with turmeric and feungreek (the actual recipe demanded curry leaves but meols isnt bombay so i gambled ont he fenugreek, dont tell jan though, she'll have my ass). tonight i will add the chick peas, greek yogurht, mushrooms and coriander leaves. i will then serve on a bed of rice and it will be the fucking money.

i was tempted to ruin it to stop jans vegetable fixation but i didnt have the gumption.

Boz - I suggest you stir it with your codger. That way you can take the moral high ground because it had (a very small portion) of meat in it - albeit temporarily.
